We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Front Office Registrar to join our team in Bridgeport, CT
. The Front Office Registrar is a member of a health care team responsible for working with Providers, Nurses, and Clinical Support staff to ensure a complete and timely patient flow process. They assure that pre‑work is performed before the patient arrives by verifying demographic and insurance information to ensure prompt payment of services to Optimus. They monitor provider schedules лечении for Optimus’ established productivity levels and timely scheduling of patient visits.
Working knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
- Conducts initial intake of patients
- Updates patient information
- Collects co‑pays
- Assists with scheduling of tests & treatments
- Assists with administrative tasks as needed
- Greets customer with a smile and provides eye contact at all times
- Ensures customer retention by providing excellent customer service
- Creates a comfortable atmosphere for customers by addressing all questions and concerns
- Completes patient demographic and insurance financial information and ensures patients are processed timely, accurately and completely
- Is responsible and accountable for verification of insurances to ensure billing of services
Education: High School diploma / Associates degree preferred.
Experience: At least five luego years’ experience, preferably in a health care setting.

- Familiarity with EMR is helpful.
