Position: Honing Machine Operator (Segment 2; Aerospace)

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment.

* Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.

* Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by machine. Analyze machine problems and take corrective action in timely manner.

* Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.

* Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.

* Required to perform inspection of own work Certified Operator Program.

* May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.

* Ability to read and interpret production prints.

Your Qualifications

* Education:

Grade 12 diploma

* Experience:

Equivalent machining background or mechanical aptitude.
