Cashier​/Food Service Worker

Overview

We are hiring immediately for on call CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Eurest USA.

Location:

Sikorsky Cafe West, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

On call;
Weekdays, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $16.50 per hour.

• Operates Point of Sale system and performs cashier duties; provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps coffee and cashier stations clean.
• Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts; also helps prepare catering orders.
• Performs general cleaning duties; removes trash to designated areas; inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
• Ensures servings are presented properly; sets up serving line, checks temperatures, records results, and notifies cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges.
• Maintains cash accuracy with receipts and makes deposits at the end of each shift.
• Rotates stock using first in, first out and maintains par levels for pantry items; records temperatures and replenishment on floor stock forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior cashier and food handling experience is preferred.

• Part-time position with on-call schedule; benefits may apply for eligible full-time and part-time roles as described by Eurest/Compass Group.
