Encon is seeking a talented Plumbing Apprentice responsible for helping with the installation of plumbing systems for HVAC in residential homes. Work with Crew Leads, Project Managers, Project Coordinator, and Sales team to deliver successfully completed projects for our customers.

• Help install geothermal systems, hydronic systems, boilers, radiant heat, hot water heaters, and gas piping in residential homes.
• Get familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Help install hydronic systems in custom homes.
• Be a resource and provide support for the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Superintendent, and Crew Leads.
• Anticipate challenges on projects and provide feedback to your crew leader.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Some construction, plumbing or HVAC experience is required.
• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade.
• Good customer service skills.
• Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self‑motivated, flexible and team player.
• Good communication skills; written and verbal.
• Positive attitude with good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

• Plumbing or HVAC education or experience with installing HVAC, heating/cooling systems, and temperature control systems.
• Knowledge of piping practices including hydronic, gas piping, and geothermal piping is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to work with different materials such as copper, PEX, iron, polypropylene, etc. is a plus but not required.
• Proven skills in soldering, fusion welding, screwed fittings, propress, etc. is a plus but not required.

• Valid drivers license.
• OSHA 10 or 30.
• Employment/education will be verified.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
