The Department of Cell and Molecular Biology at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for an Associate Professor position. We seek an accomplished investigator with an established, independent research program focused on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that contribute to chronic human disease pathogenesis. We especially encourage candidates whose research bridges fundamental cell and molecular biology with disease mechanisms, such as translational biology, model systems, or emerging experimental and computational approaches.
The successful candidate will join a productive, collaborative department with expertise in cardiovascular disease, carcinogenesis, immunology, organelle biology, and genetics. The position is research-intensive, with limited teaching responsibilities for graduate or medical education. Salary, start-up funds, and other considerations will be commensurate with experience.
