Service Technician Responsibilities- Inspect vehicles and diagnose the problem(s).
- Provide an excellent customer service experience by performing quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
- Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology.
- Build and maintain knowledge of products and services via on-the-job training and completion of manufacturer training.
- Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Automotive service technician experience.
- Energetic with a positive attitude.
- Devotion to your work as a career.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, a plus.
- Automotive technical school graduate, a plus.
- High school or equivalent (Required).
- Automotive service technician: 1 year Required.
- Experience working in a Volkswagen Dealership Required.
- Driver's License (Required).
- Entry level.
- Full-time.
