Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Position Summary:
Prepares and handles food as outlined on station lists and company recipes in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to designated work stations and prep list.
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products used and food served.
- Prepare all menu items in accordance with recipe guidelines and par levels and following portion and quality standards, kitchen rules and policies and procedures.
- Prepares all ingredients needed for designated station daily, following chef’s prep and par lists.
- Maintains a clean kitchen, within Company and State standards at all times, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes according to directions.
- Labels and dates all food products in storage and refrigeration areas as needed.
- Assists in food prep assignments in off-peak periods as needed.
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
- Assist others as needed.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
