Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Position Summary:

Prepares and handles food as outlined on station lists and company recipes in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare food according to designated work stations and prep list.
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products used and food served.
• Prepare all menu items in accordance with recipe guidelines and par levels and following portion and quality standards, kitchen rules and policies and procedures.
• Prepares all ingredients needed for designated station daily, following chef’s prep and par lists.
• Maintains a clean kitchen, within Company and State standards at all times, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
• Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes according to directions.
• Labels and dates all food products in storage and refrigeration areas as needed.
• Assists in food prep assignments in off-peak periods as needed.
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
• Assist others as needed.
