Relief Cleaner

Overview

Mitie seeks a Cleaner to deliver excellent service standards. The role is a Part Time permanent position with a pay rate of £15.00 per hour, based at Co Op, Ferry Road, Stromness, Orkney, KW16 3AE
.

• Keep cleaning equipment clean, well maintained, and safe.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self‑driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.
