T aking ownership of visual merchandising and stock presentation, ensuring the shop always looks fresh, inviting, and aligned with the latest campaigns.

Using your commercial awareness to spot opportunities, drive sales, and maximise income from donations and stock. Building strong relationships within the local community, helping to grow support, donations, and footfall. Supporting day-to-day shop operations including stock management, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and operational standards. To be a successful Assistant Shop Manager, what will you need?

Confidence and being proactive to step up, take initiative, and support the day-to-day running of the shop. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep the shop running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. A positive, resilient attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace the challenges of a busy retail setting. To be a team player who leads by example, motivates others, and contributes to a supportive, inclusive shop culture.
