Summer Camp Cook- (Summer

We are currently recruiting for a Camp Cook to serve meals at the Achievement Centers for Children’s Camp Cheerful, located on 52 acres of woods, trails, fields, and aquatic areas of the Cleveland Metroparks.

The camp offers traditional activities such as hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature study, games, campfire activities, music, and sports. We also provide year‑round therapeutic horseback riding and a state‑of‑the‑art, fully handicap‑accessible high ropes challenge course.

• Prepare and serve meals tailored to each camper’s dietary requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in a childcare setting.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and storage areas.

• Minimum of two years’ food‑service experience in a health‑care or dietary setting.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with quantity cooking and specialized dietary needs.
• Serv Safe certification and/or Person‑in‑Charge certification a plus, but not required.
