Senior Machine Learning Ops (MLOps) Engineer Position Description

We are seeking a skilled MLOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize machine learning pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MLOps practices, Spark, SQL, and Python, with hands‑on experience deploying ML models on cloud (preferably on AWS) and on-prem (Hadoop, OCP, etc.). Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.

• Build MLOps pipelines orchestration on Amazon Sage Maker and/or on-prem leveraging Dev Ops tools and OCP platforms
• Write clean, efficient, and modular code in Python for MLOps, feature engineering, and automations.
• Optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark and SQL for large-scale data processing.

• Collaborate with data scientists to product ionize ML models and ensure smooth integration with business applications.
• Monitor model performance, retraining schedules, and implement model drift detection.
• Optimize compute usage, model packaging (Docker), and endpoint autoscaling.
• Ensure pipeline reliability, quality, schema enforcement, and data validation.
• Enable QE teams to test ML systems (data testing, API testing, pipeline testing).

• Strong proficiency in Python for ML and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or similar).
• Expertise in SQL and Apache Spark for data engineering and analytics.
• Proven experience in AWS Sage Maker for ML model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices applied to ML workflows.

• Knowledge of LLMs (GPT, Llama, Falcon, Claude) and prompt engineering.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) is a plus.
• Understanding of deploying LLMs on AWS (Sage Maker Jump Start, Bedrock).
