Commercial Facility Maintenance Technician (Non-Licensed)
Join Leo Facilities Maintenance as a Commercial Facility Maintenance Technician (Non-Licensed) in the greater Cleveland metro area. We are a long‑established (25+ years) commercial maintenance contractor serving major retail, convenience, and restaurant brands.
OverviewWe provide install, break/fix, and emergency services. Two technician openings are available due to continuous growth in work orders.
Key Responsibilities- Cover assigned territory of approximately 1 to 2 hour radius from home.
- Perform general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, painting, tile work, drywall patching & repair, cabinets & counters, door locks.
- Communicate with support team via phone app to respond to work orders and IVR check‑in.
- Diagnose and determine necessary repair(s) using troubleshooting skills.
- Prepare job scopes, estimates, and material lists for the account management team.
- Participate in on‑call rotation that includes nights and weekends; one week out of every 4 to 6 weeks.
- 2+ years of commercial maintenance experience in commercial, hotel, multi‑family, or similar settings.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Comfortable driving to multiple locations throughout a shift.
- Flexible availability including overtime, evenings, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
- Ability to pass a background check, 4‑panel drug screen (THC waived), and MVR check.

- Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up/down stairs regularly; climb ladders up to 35 feet repeatedly.
- Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man‑lifts.
- Bend, stretch, lift, and move heavy objects (50‑60 lbs) multiple times per shift.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts, man‑lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools, and automatic machinery.
New hires attend a 1 to 2‑week orientation at our headquarters in River Grove, IL where they receive technology training, tools, and a work van.
Additional InformationTechnicians do not need a state journeyman or master license to work here, and they are not required to engage in sales activities.
