Foundation Studies at SGS College has an excellent reputation for delivering an outstanding curriculum of Life Skills and Employability to students who may need more time to acquire the skills they need for independent living, further study and employment.
To maintain the growth of provision within our department and to support various new projects, we are looking for a self‑motivated individual who can confidently teach Entry to Level One across various subject areas including Employability, Life Skills, English and maths.
Our learners need innovative and creative teaching methods to encourage and engage learning. If you are passionate about teaching and learning, are able to translate this to your students using a range of effective strategies, you will enjoy being part of a committed team. You should feel confident working with challenging behaviours, Special Educational Needs and disability and SEMH.
