This fixed-term opportunity is aimed at a recent graduate looking to begin a career in Higher Education teaching and learning. You will support the delivery of our FdA Game Art and FdSc Game Design & Development programmes through practical workshops, project support, academic skills development and assessment activities.

• Support the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across the FdA Game Art and FdSc Game Design & Development programmes.
• Assist with practical workshops, demonstrations and tutorial sessions within specialist games disciplines.
• Provide support and guidance to students undertaking individual and group project work.
• Contribute to assessment, feedback and monitoring of student progress under the guidance of programme staff.
• Support students in developing academic, technical and professional skills.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

• A recent bachelor’s degree in game art, Game Design, Games Development, Computer Games, Digital Media or a closely related subject.
• Practical skills in one or more industry-standard tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop or related software.
• Understanding of contemporary games production workflows and development practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for supporting and motivating learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Industry experience, freelance projects or a teaching qualification are desirable but not essential.
