English and Maths Extra supports and develops learners to become the best they can be, and we are looking for an EAA assessor/specialist tutor to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team.
This role will be balanced between exam access arrangements assessments (EAAs) and specialist tutoring.
Most of this role will be EAA assessing and its associated administrative tasks, however, there will be a requirement for tutoring and teaching during the quieter parts of the academic year.
Specialist tutors are required to deliver both English and maths, but if you have a preference for one subject, we will try to timetable you according to your strengths when and where possible. For example, if you are a maths specialist the majority of your lessons will be maths. We will also train you to teach English and develop your understanding of the English GCSE syllabus, with continued support throughout.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assessing learners for exams access arrangements and completing the associated administrative tasks.
