SGS Create provides a specialised, school-like environment within a college setting, offering a nurturing and inclusive space for students who have found mainstream education challenging. Many of our learners are neurodiverse, have experienced prolonged disengagement, or are seeking a more personalised and flexible approach to learning. Our balanced curriculum includes core academic GCSEs-such as English Language, Maths, and Double Science-alongside vocational pathways tailored to student interests, all supported by small class sizes and a high staff-to-student ratio.

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to join SGS Create, a dynamic provision for 14-16-year-olds based at SGS College's Stroud Campus.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Supporting learners across curriculum and vocational sessions to achieve their EHCP outcomes and qualifications
  • Promoting inclusion, independence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate records of support provided
  • Contributing to learner reviews, planning meetings, and transition support
  • Upholding safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards in all aspects of your work
  • Supporting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement with learning, using consistent relational and trauma-informed approaches.
