A dynamic Stroud organisation requires a Management Accountant on a permanent basis to take ownership for the month-end reporting function. The culture of the company is supportive and encourages people to look for improvements and there are opportunities to make a notable difference.
Role responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts
- P&L review with commentary relating to any variances
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
- Provide variance analysis and information to budget-holders
- Oversight of monthly payroll
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide analytical support to the senior management team
- Part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or equivalent) with experience gained within management accounts
- Experience of preparing journals, prepayments and accruals and balance sheet recs
- Able to look at a P&L and review accordingly and draw conclusions
- Good level of Excel skills
- Can work at pace in a high change environment
