Senior Support Worker – Bridgend

Full-time 45.5 hours per week – £12.80 to £13.70 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).

We’re now looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Bridgend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and provide day‑to‑day guidance and support to the staff team
  • Ensure person‑centred support plans are followed and regularly reviewed
  • Support adults with daily living skills, emotional wellbeing, and independence
  • Work collaboratively with managers, families, and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate records, contribute to reviews, and support risk assessments
  • Promote a positive, calm, and safe environment within the service
  • Act as a role model, supporting team development and good practice
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in a support or care role (ideally supporting adults with SEMH and/or autism)
  • QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Confidence to lead shifts and support others
  • A calm, resilient, and person‑centred approach

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
