Stroud – Permanent – £30,000-£40,000 including bonuses and overtime.

BMR Solutions are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work for our client, an engineering/manufacturing company in Storud.

• Mechanical Build

• Assemble parts to the required specification.
• Work from engineering drawings to build mechanical sub‑assemblies.
• Perform mechanical build and fitting.
• Precision pipe bending (company happy to train).
• Pipe fitting.
• Work in a team of mechanical fitters to meet build targets.

• Hydraulic or pneumatic assembly experience.
• Ability to understand mechanical design assembly.
• Previous manufacturing environment.
• Experience assembling large fabricated parts to engineering drawings.
• Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components.
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
