Job Title: CNC Setter Operator (Night Shift)
Location:
Stroud
Hours: Night Shift
Salary: £37,980 (incl shift allowance)
- Set and operate CNC Turning machines to produce high‑precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining.
- Conduct tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections using measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner Setter Operator.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
- Willingness to work night shifts and meet production targets.
