Salary: £36,000 + Quarterly Bonus + Overtime

Shift Pattern – Double Day Shift (Rotating)

Early Shift

Late Shift

Monday – Thursday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

THOMAS Professional are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join a well‑established engineering manufacturer based in Stroud on a Double Day Shift pattern. Overtime Rates

Weekdays: 1.5x basic hourly rate

Saturday: 1.5x basic hourly rate

Sunday: 2x basic hourly rate

Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC machinery
  • Producing precision‑engineered components to specification
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out in‑process inspection checks
  • Completing production and quality documentation
  • Supporting production targets and efficiency improvements
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards
  • Working closely with Team Leaders and production teams
The Person

The successful CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have:

  • Previous CNC setting and operating experience
  • Experience with in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of quality inspection processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
