Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic livestock manager to join us on our 650ha mixed organic farm. We are looking for someone to take forward the daily management of our 40 cow organic dairy herd (soon to be 65ish) as well as our small beef, pig & poultry enterprises supplying the onsite farm shop.
Responsibilities- Day-to-day milking and working management of the dairy herd, followers and all other livestock.
- Good communication skills.
- Positive and flexible mindset.
- High animal welfare, excellent attention to detail and good record keeping.
- Genuine interest in organic farming principles (and love cows!).
- Salary depending on experience.
- 3 bedroom semi detached modern cottage available, metres from the farmyard.
