Quality Engineer (Exciting Technical Progression)

Salary: £38,000 – £50,000 + Technical Progression

Location:

Office based (Stroud & Stonehouse), commutable from Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to directly impact the quality systems of a specialist local factory. You will be given full autonomy to manage, improve and implement your own systems, with internal training to upskill your expertise and a clear path to future progression to Senior Engineer.

• Oversee and drive quality systems and processes across the factories.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of change initiatives.
• Provide technical training and support to staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with ISO
  9001 and other industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product and process quality.

• Previous experience in quality engineering, quality inspection or a related role.
• Strong understanding of QMS, CAPA, Non‑Conformance, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or similar.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
