Tool Room Engineer

Join our Tool Room department as Tool Room Engineer at Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. This full‑time permanent role is based on site in Stonehouse and supports all areas of Production and Mould Shop.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 7:30–16:30 and Friday 7:30–12:30.

• Maintain injection mould tooling daily.
• Manufacture and fit quality parts for production jigs, fixtures and tooling.
• Inspect parts visually or using measuring tools.
• Repair and maintain tools, jigs and fixtures – both preventative and responsive.
• Ensure work quality meets required standards and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule compliant with ISO
  13485.
• Support the Tool Room Manager and daily production team as required.
• Follow quality system requirements and inform the Quality team of any related issues.
• Maintain systems to ensure compliance with ISO
  9001, ISO
  13485 and IVD regulations, including good documentation practices.

• Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop / mould shop / tool room environment.
• Experience with low‑volume prototype, R&D‑type work.
• Machining experience capable of high‑tolerance work.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and CNC experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Good IT skills.
