This position reports to:

Quality Manager__The Factory Certification Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products, manufacturing processes, and factory operations comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and certification schemes. The role involves managing certification activities, supporting audits, maintaining compliance documentation, and working with cross-functional teams to achieve and sustain product and factory approvals.

Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Lead and Coordinate factory and product certification programs through the product life cycle.

Liaise with customers to support with the preparation and hosting of Factory Acceptance Tests.

Act as the primary contact for notified bodies, managing assessments and responding to technical queries, observations and non-conformances.

Lead internal audits, regulatory inspections and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen certification processes.

Maintain and improve the sites Quality Management System to ensure continued compliance with International, national and customer specific standards.

Review technical documentation to support EU Declarations of Conformity and other regulatory requirements.

Work model: onsite from our Stonehouse location {#LI-onsite}Qualifications and Experience Experience in product certification, regulatory compliance or a similar engineering role.

A degree (or equivalent qualification) in an engineering or other relevant technical discipline. Candidates with alternative technical qualifications and relevant practical experience are also encouraged to apply.

ISO
9001 Lead Auditor with knowledge of managing an Audit program.

Experience with global or industry-specific certifications such as UL, CSA, FM, MCERTS, Marine or drinking water approvals would be advantageous.

Experience preparing and reviewing technical files, certification applications and conformity assessment documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
