Retail Merchandiser

Overview

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye‑catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail? If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Stratford Rd, Stroud (GL5 4AG
).

• Ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions displayed attractively, and shelves are well‑stocked.
• Comply with merchandising standards, store policies, and health and safety guidance.
• Follow planograms to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ownership of work within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling (move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shop floor).
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer task‑related questions.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.

Confirmed working days/hours:
Wednesdays – 8 hours during store opening hours (start time flexible). Locations:
Cam‑Dursley GL11 Wootton, Express GL12 Paganhill, Stroud Exp GL5 Nailsworth, Stroud Exp GL6, Stroud Chalford Exp GL6. Plus ad‑hoc work as interested and agreed. New client starting 1st March 2026. Full induction provided beforehand.
