Team Manager, responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of Social Workers, ensuring delivery of high-quality statutory services while promoting excellent practice and continuous improvement.

• Lead, manage and supervise a team of Social Workers within the Children & Families Team.
• Provide regular supervision, support and professional guidance.
• Oversee safeguarding practice and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.
• Quality assure assessments, reports and interventions to maintain high standards of practice.
• Have oversight of cases involving Child Protection, Children in Need, Children in Care and court proceedings.
• Support the ongoing development of staff and contribute to service improvement.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in hybrid working arrangements, with an initial period of greater office presence.

• A recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• A minimum of 6 months UK experience working as a registered Social Worker.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a Children's Social Work team.
• Significant safeguarding experience, including Child Protection, Children in Need, Children in Care and court work.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Three years of satisfactory references.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
