Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join a well established digital solutions company based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

£35,000 - £40,000 - hybrid working - Immediate start!

They are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work, and is keen to learn and grow.

• Developing new features and enhancements for their platform
• Building modern frontend applications using Angular and React
• Contributing to backend development, using C#
• Working on bespoke development tasks for customer requirements and internal projects
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Creating unit tests and automated end-to-end tests
• Using source control to manage and maintain code effectively
• Working within an Agile environment and participating in team meetings
• Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners
• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle

• Frontend development experience through a commercial role
• Experience with JavaScript or Type Script
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React/Angular preferred, but not essential)
• Good understanding of HTML and CSS / SCSS
• Willingness to learn backend development
• Ability to independently problem solve, but also the temperament to work collaboratively within a team

• Experience with React/Angular
• Experience with C# or backend development
• A relevant degree
• Full, clean driving licence
• Experience with agile development methodologies

This role will require you to work on a hybrid basis 3 days per week in the office in Stonehouse so you must be commuting distance from that location.
