Storekeeper

Location

Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, UK.

The Storekeeper is responsible for executing daily warehouse operations, including material handling, storage, and inventory movements, in full compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented, and committed individual who takes ownership of their work and contributes to maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-organized warehouse.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing lists and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and good condition.
• Perform daily warehouse tasks including labelling, storing, picking, packing, issuing, and inventory handling
  .
• Accurately record all material movements in the system (SAP/WMS) to maintain inventory integrity.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly packed, labelled, and documented
  .
• Immediately report discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Support cycle counting and periodic physical inventories with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with kitting, Kanban replenishment, and other materials processes as required.
• Follow all company policies, including QHSE standards
  , at all times.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (upon training and certification).
• Actively contribute to improving efficiency, organization, and safety within the warehouse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials handling preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Comfortable using computers and tools such as Microsoft Excel or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Responsible, reliable, and highly committed to delivering quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Forklift experience or certification is an advantage.
