We are currently seeking a Medicare Billing Specialist to join our team in our Stuart, Florida office. If you have experience with insurance billing, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a detail-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do- Must have 1-2+ years of experience working in direct claim collections in medical billing.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPC and CPT-4 coding modifiers.
- Experience preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.
- Working knowledge of insurance carriers' payment regulations including various reimbursement schemes, coinsurance and deductibles and contractual adjustment.
- Knowledge of Medicare RCD procedures
- Knowledge of CMS, AHCA Compliance
- Home Health or hospital experience preferred.
