Vitae Health Systems is assisting our sister company in identifying a skilled Nurse Practitioner with gastroenterology experience to join a longstanding practice in Stuart, Florida. This practice has been a trusted resource for digestive health care in the community for more than 20 years and is now seeking an NP who is ready to step into a leadership role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values independence, patient relationships, and the ability to shape a practice while being supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff.

The position can start full-time or part-time with the option to expand into full-time.

Please note:

Scoping procedures are handled through a local partner, so this role focuses on consultative care, continuity management, and patient education.

• A fully operational gastroenterology clinic with an established patient base

• Support staff, private exam rooms, and a functional EMR system (Epic experience a plus)

• Strong referral relationships and community recognition

• Administrative support for billing, scheduling, and compliance

• Flexibility in schedule—starting part-time with the ability to expand

• Opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the practice

• Provide assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing care for gastroenterology patients

• Conduct follow-ups, medication management, and order/interpret diagnostics

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care

• Collaborate with the physician team to ensure comprehensive care

• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EMR

• Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP)

• Minimum 1 year of gastroenterology experience

• Active Florida license (or eligibility)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work autonomously

• Interest in long-term practice development and leadership opportunities

• Salary range: $100,000 – $125,591 per year
