Title:
Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Location:
Sturbridge, MASalary: $85,000 - $95,000
The Judge Group is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) for a manufacturing company located in the Sturbridge, MA area.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a production department with 25+ employees, ensuring daily staffing aligns with production goals.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team leads and operators while fostering accountability and engagement.
- Monitor key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Finance to resolve operational issues and improve performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Oversee employee training programs, skill matrices, and onboarding activities.
- Manage labor utilization, attendance, scheduling, PTO requests, and payroll/timekeeping accuracy.
- Support GMP and documentation compliance while maintaining efficient manufacturing operations.
- Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
- Experience analyzing production data and implementing process improvements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
