Press Brake Operator

Overview

Exac Tech Inc., a global metal fabrication shop located in Sturgeon Bay, WI, is seeking a Press Brake Operator for our first shift team. The role involves running a computer‑controlled machine that cuts, shapes, and bends various materials while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

• Adjust machine parts to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature, and material flow for quality production.
• Monitor and control machines daily to maintain production schedules.
• Complete daily quality checks and paperwork to meet production, industry, and company standards.
• Maintain a safe, uncluttered, and clean work environment by performing maintenance and janitorial duties as time allows.
• Review all work orders and instructions to determine needed ingredients, machines, parts, and materials for full customer satisfaction.
• Engage in continuing education, training, and seminars to remain up‑to‑date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager.

• Desired experience operating large manufacturing machines.
• Strong technical and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings (plus).
• Ability to use a tape measurer and convert measurements into decimals.
• Following verbal and written work instructions.
• Regular attendance required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
