Up to $50/hr. based on experience. Kewaunee Health Services is a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation. North Shore Healthcare is part of the largest post‑acute provider in the Upper Midwest with 70 skilled nursing and assisted living centers.

Summary of Position
  • Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty.
  • Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
  • The RN adheres to the standards of care, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises care by nursing assistants and helpers.
  • Follows all North Shore policies and procedures, the State Nurse Practice Act, and applicable JCAHO standards.
Requirements
  • Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosage
  • Meets all health requirements imposed by law
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff
  • Fluency in English (read, write, speak)
  • Basic computer knowledge and aptitude for learning company applications
  • Experience in a fast‑paced environment
  • Previous post‑acute care experience preferred
