Marine Travelift is a manufacturer of customized boat handling systems, including boat hoists, marine forklifts, and hydraulic transporters. Established in 1954, our equipment is utilized across the globe with over 5,000 units in service, helping marinas handle boats of all sizes.

Marine Travelift is the parent company to Shuttlelift
, an expansive line of industrial cranes used in a variety of lifting applications. These rubber‑tired gantry cranes provide lifting solutions up to 1,000 metric tons and larger.

What are we looking for?

We are hiring a full‑time Field Service Technician to provide services to domestic and international Maritime Travelift & Shuttlelift customers and equipment. The technician will work 40–60 hours per week, traveling at least 75 % of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Elevate new equipment at customer sites and provide customer training on equipment usage and proper maintenance.
  • Conduct field inspections on previously purchased equipment and provide feedback to customers.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts lists to the Customer Care team.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines currently in service at customer sites.
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining industrial equipment with strong hydraulic and electrical aptitude (Parker IQAN a plus).
  • Effective troubleshooting skills using proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis techniques.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and rigging.
  • Ability to work at heights safely in excess of 50 feet.
  • Ability to understand technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Minimum 75 % travel domestically and internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
