Seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist About H&R Block

Typical Day

Helping others is what we do best here. As a Seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist, you will inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, building client relationships that grow stronger each year. You will focus on how to wow clients now and in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
  • Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs
  • Schedule clients in a way that suits them
  • Ensure all client needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales/marketing experience
