They are seeking a financial planning professional to offer investment advice and the management of advisory assets while working alongside the founder on comprehensive financial planning.
The role offers a path toward practice ownership over time alongside other team members. You would join a small, highly educated, long-tenured team known for its kindness, personal service, and family-friendly approach to work.
Key Responsibilities- Manage advisory assets, provide investment advice, and execute trades for clients.
- Work alongside the founder to develop and deliver comprehensive financial plans.
- Advise individuals and families on retirement planning, IRA rollovers, and wealth transfers.
- Provide attentive, personal service to a client base built primarily through referrals.
- Collaborate with the firm’s registered professional and client services associate.
- Use Wealthscape, Albridge, and other platform tools for client access and reporting.
- Develop the business and leadership skills needed for a future ownership role.
- Contribute wherever needed in a small, collaborative office.
- At least two years of paraplanning or financial planning experience, including asset allocation and management of client investments.
- CFP® designation preferred. Candidates with less experience who hold the CFP® designation and are passionate about helping clients are encouraged to apply.
- Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 licenses preferred.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in becoming a practice owner.
- A strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a commitment to acting in clients’ best interests.
- Kind, ethical, dependable, detail-oriented, resourceful, and professional.
- A collaborative approach that fits a close-knit, long-tenured team.
- A clear path toward practice ownership.
- A family-friendly culture that values work-life balance.
- A commitment to your professional development through regular feedback, performance reviews, and the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced founder.
- An established client base built almost entirely through referrals.
- The resources and support of a national broker-dealer and RIA platform.
- Health insurance and a SIMPLE IRA with a 3% employer match.
