Processing Operator

Job Description

• Responsible for operating, monitoring, and documenting computer‑controlled blending, weighing, cleaning, and heat treatment processes.
• Performs product line operations, maintains GMP compliance, follows batch work orders, and ensures accurate documentation.
• Supports transportation of raw ingredients and chemicals, completes routine cleaning and maintenance activities, and assists with related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to make decisions and use problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and GMP compliance at all times.

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar batch processing environment preferred.
• Experience working with computer‑controlled systems desired.

• Operate, monitor, and document computer‑controlled blending processes.
• Weigh, document, and stage batch ingredients using a computer‑controlled weight system.
• Operate, monitor, and document a computer‑controlled clean‑in‑place (CIP) system.
• Perform product line operations including standardization and final water adjustments.
• Maintain GMP compliance through routine equipment cleaning and general area maintenance.
• Follow batch work orders and job procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Receive and transport bulk raw ingredients and chemicals.
• Support other assigned duties as needed.
• Operate, monitor, and document bulk slurry preparation for blending.
• Operate, monitor, and document computer‑controlled heat treatment processes.

• Some college or vocational schooling desired.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer and mechanical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
