This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science‑based nutrition products for all ages – from babies to adults – featuring brand names such as Similac®, Pedia Sure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure® and Glucerna®.

• Operate various packaging equipment, including depalletizers, labelers and packers
• Track usage of commodities such as ends, labels, overcaps and cases
• Conduct routine quality inspections of product in production
• Ensure proper batch work order documentation is completed
• Perform housekeeping tasks following sanitation procedures
• Execute scheduled production line cleaning activities
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Operate forklift
• Apply solid problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Meet compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, SQF and Abbott policies

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid forklift certification (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Base pay: $15.55 – $31.15 per hour (varies by location).
