COLD FOOD (SALAD) (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Compass One Healthcare is hiring Cold Food Staff for full‑time and part‑time positions at Monument Health Compass One Sturgis located at 949 Harmon Street, Sturgis, SD 57785. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with days that may vary including rotating weekends. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Prepare and serve cold foods including sandwiches, salads, and other items using approved production standards, ensure proper quality, portion control, and compliance with safety regulations.

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads according to approved production standards.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following merchandising guidelines.
• Move food items between workstations, refrigeration units, and serving areas as needed.
• Store food properly with HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors.
• Cut meats, cheeses, and vegetables to designated thicknesses using slicing machines or knives.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain company service standards and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with sanitation, Serv Safe, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous food preparation or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
