Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

Teaching Personnel is recruiting accomplished High Level Teaching Assistants to provide flexible cover across a variety of SEN and SEMH provisions in the Sturminster Newton area. These assignments offer an excellent opportunity for experienced support professionals seeking flexible working arrangements while continuing to make a significant impact on pupils' educational journeys. • Leading planned learning activities.
• Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs.
• Delivering interventions and targeted support programmes.
• Covering lessons when required.
• Assisting with behaviour management strategies.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and resilience.
• Collaborating with teachers and specialist professionals.
• Monitoring progress and reporting observations.

• Previous HLTA experience or substantial SEN support experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of SEND and SEMH provision.
• Confidence working independently.
• Flexibility and professionalism.
