Description/Job Summary

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Stuttgart, AR

Job Summary: Provides design specifications and suggested layouts to maximize drying, milling and packaging efficiencies within established quality control standards. Monitors process flow to ensure continuing efficiency and oversees the implementation of process improvements within project scope and budget parameters.

Pay: Salary commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess at least one of the following: B.S. in Mechanical, Agricultural, Biological Engineering from a 4-year accredited university or 10 years of management experience in grain dryer or grain processes related field.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess working knowledge of computers.
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed. Most travel is within 150-miles radius of main office.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull and crawl throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to ride man-lifts.
• Must be willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Preferred

• Knowledge and use of Microsoft programs, spreadsheets, database, scheduling programs, and familiarity with current drafting software preferred or willing to learn drafting software as needed.
