Description/Job Summary

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., overtime as needed.

Job Summary:

Learn to operate and maintain transfer systems, conveyors, screening, destoning, scales, and other equipment in the packing department. Assist with conducting, monitoring, and documenting activities of control points (magnets, screens, destoners) and critical control points (metal detection). Assist with pre-loading inspections of carriers (truck, cars) to ensure clean and safe conditions for product loading-shipments. Also learn the procedures for documenting and maintaining inventory, and sanitation records.

• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Must possess basic maintenance skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be willing to climb up to 30 feet.
• Must be willing to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
