** Job Description
** Scott Petroleum, a leader in the petroleum industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic/Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in light mechanic work. The Mechanic/Tire Technician will play a role in servicing customer vehicles and tire repair.
** Responsibilities:
**** Light Mechanic Work:
*** Perform routine maintenance on customer vehicles including oil changes.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with customer vehicles.
** Tire Repair:
*** Perform task such as repairing flats, changing tires, tire rotations and balancing tires.
* Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently.
** Safety Compliance:
*** Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
** Documentation:
*** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of jobs performed on customer vehicles.
* Complete required paperwork, including work orders and service reports, promptly and accurately.

Collaboration:

*** Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
* Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
* Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
