Description/Job Summary
Safety Sensitive Position
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m.
- 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including nights and weekends.
Job Summary
:
Inspects carriers' trucks to ensure the carrier is safe, clean and does not compromise product quality and/or safety. Load Truck and move from location to location. Operates forklift for stacking and taking down packaged product on slip sheets and/or pallets. Responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control, filling air bags into trucks, placing seals on trucks, etc.
Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product as needed. Responsible for documenting and maintaining inspection and sanitation records. The primary function of this job will be driving a truck but will be required to do other duties as assigned during the down time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clear driving record.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Commercial Driving experience.
- Must be willing and able to be trained to operate handheld scanner.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 4 feet.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
