Manager of Indigenous Accounting Services

Lead the Indigenous Ease Services team as a Manager and make a lasting impact on Indigenous communities across Canada. This role emphasizes your ability to foster financial growth and empowerment through tailored accounting solutions.

In this manager position, you will be a trusted advisor, working directly with clients to refine and elevate their financial management processes. Your responsibilities will include creating effective training materials, ensuring audit readiness, and providing comprehensive support in payroll and compliance. Additionally, you will mentor team members and maintain open lines of communication with leadership on financial progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients in improving their accounting capabilities

• Design checklists and training sessions for financial tasks

• Organize documents for audits and compliance

• Collaborate to gather reporting requirements

• Review and enhance financial policies for efficiency

Requirements:

• Certificate or diploma in accounting or related field

• CPA or CAFM designation preferred

• Minimum five years of accounting experience

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Experience with Indigenous communities is a plus
