Bilingual Accountant at Technica

Location: Greater Sudbury

Technica is looking for a Bilingual Accountant to enhance our finance department. This role emphasizes data entry, compliance, and effective communication in both English and French.

As an Accountant reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be integral to managing financial records and ensuring compliance.

Your role involves processing transactions, drafting journal entries, and preparing tax remittances. With a focus on detail and organizational skills, you will help uphold Technica’s values in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and enter accounting data accurately

• Handle Accounts Receivable and manage cash postings

• Post entries related to Accounts Payable

• Prepare accurate journal entries and adjustments

• Support internal audits and month-end closing processes

Requirements:

• Accounting diploma or equivalent qualification

• 1-2 years in accounting experience necessary

• Bilingual in French and English required

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
