Position: Accountant Role at Technica Mining
Location: Greater Sudbury

Become an integral part of Technica Mining as an Accountant, dedicated to ensuring accuracy in financial processes. This role demands proficiency in accounting systems and multilingual capabilities in French and English.

As an Accountant reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will take charge of various financial duties, such as entering data into accounting systems, managing Accounts Receivable, and preparing tax remittances. With responsibilities extending to supporting procurement training and internal audits, your attention to detail and time management will be crucial in meeting deadlines and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and validate data in ERP and Excel systems

• Manage cash receipts and Accounts Receivable entries

• Review and post Accounts Payable transactions

• Draft journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Assist with month-end reporting and internal audits

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or Accounting

• 1-2 years of accounting experience required

• Bilingual in French and English is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Strong communication and organizational skills
