We are seeking an experienced Controller to support financial oversight, reporting, and controls across multiple operating entities. This role works closely with senior leadership and external partners to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality reporting, while supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations in a growing, multi‑entity environment.
Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Reporting- Review and oversight of day‑to‑day accounting activities across multiple entities
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close support and coordination
- Preparation and review of financial statements, internal management reports, and summaries
- General ledger review, journal entry oversight, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Oversight of accounts payable, receivable, payroll inputs, and cash management processes
- Budget support, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with leadership
- Maintain and support internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory, and tax requirements
- Primary internal contact for external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
- Support inter‑company transactions and multi‑entity reporting consistency
- Assist with financial process improvement, system optimization, and reporting efficiency
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
- Support special projects, executive requests, and ad‑hoc financial analysis as required
- Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- CPA designation (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and financial reporting
- Experience working within multi‑entity or complex operating environments
- High proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and professional judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively within an established accounting structure
- Experience in financial services, professional services, or regulated environments is a strong asset

Pay: $90,000.00-$ per year
