• Location: Sudbury, ON P3A 1Y8
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $27.00 per hour
• Employment terms: Permanent, Full time, Day shift, 30 hours per week
• Start date: As soon as possible

This position requires a junior bookkeeper to maintain financial records and perform payroll, accounting, and reporting tasks using manual and computerized systems.

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
• Prepare invoices and bank deposits

Education:

College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience:

3 years to less than 5 years working in bookkeeping or accounting.

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, Quick Books, Spreadsheet software.

Skills:

Detail orientation, ability to work independently, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, maintain high accuracy, excellent oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, time management, adaptability.
